Nemasol mixes readily with water and decomposes to release Methyl Isothiocyannate gas(M.I.T) , 2-7 hours after application. The MIT gas being lighter than air escapes upwards whilst slowly disinfecting the soil, and therefore it is vital to seal treated area to retain the gas in its fully active form in the soil.
