	General
	The Group's investments cover significant to outright ownership over some 40 odd companies located in Africa , UK India and the USA . Ownership control is exercised through external or isles of man-based holding companies. Management control is exercised through an informal corporate structure backing up the management teams, which operate the individual companies.

	Investment Strategy and Focus
	The risk in Africa is spread over multiple countries and covers multiple sectors. Each company maintains an individual focus on the product and services it provides for a principal in it's respective market .

			The Group should be diversified both sector-wise and geographically.
			The Group should have both multinational as well as local characteristics. Whereas core support, ordering as well as infrastructure is based upon multinational experience and resources, the presentation should be that of an efficiently run company with personalised service to customers
			All companies within the group should be run on a fully professional footing with their own management teams. These teams shall be intensely focused on their respective activities.
			All companies report to their respective group directors who in turn report to the CEO. The group management makes extensive use of MBO and MBWA techniques.

Core support flows from group directors to the management teams. All directors can travel to any destination within a two hour notice period subject only to group or public transport availability. Crisis teams can be formed within minutes. These teams can span multiple companies and countries.

All companies follow a general strategic plan which overlays their company specific business plan. The decision-making is totally decentralised on the local front.

The ultimate group mission is to:

Generate revenue for the stakeholders

Provide the professional presence required by our principals

Provide a professional and enabling environment for staff & Associates

Utilise the strengths and synergies generated by diversity of group activities.
